We offer exceptional customer service which is our top priority complimented by a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. While we primarily operate on an appointment basis, we happily accommodate walk-ins when availability permits. Our Story
I am mad as a box of frogs. So they tell me anyway, I am big on customer service, and like to make clients feel welcome. That makes up for being a bit crazy🤣🤣
I have been barbering on and off for over 20 years. I initially went to college to learn ladies. Got passed off for cuts and colours, but didn’t want to do perms, so didn’t get the full qualification. I then went to retrain as a barber. However, I eventually left the trade due to unforeseen circumstances. I then ended up in the prison service as an officer for 13 years. I apparently thought it would be a good idea to dislocate and break my ankle and now have pins and plates in my lower leg.
I left my job a Prison Officer on medical grounds and opened The Barber Station January 2020, then Bang!!! 2 months after, we started the lockdowns.😭😭. Since opening I’ve had to endure 3 lockdowns. However, nothing can keep me down, i am a born fighter.
Whilst in the Prison Service i competed training in mental health and drug counselling. So if anybody is struggling i can listen and you can talk in confidence.
That’s enough about me.
